Stop Bearing False Witness

"Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men."   (Matthew 2:16)

Matthew 2:16-18, is a familiar Bible story telling how in the city of Bethlehem every child two years old and under was put to death by tyrannical civil officials. For the people of Bethlehem during this incredible slaughter it was a horribly traumatic experience to say the least. The Bible describes the inhabitants mourning their loss so severely that they "would not be comforted."

Something even more incredible would be that if in the midst of all this slaughter a number of the inhabitants started insisting that the civil officials overseeing the orders were really pro-life. What utter contempt for the loss of innocent life such statements would have been. It is lunacy to even suggest such a thing ever happening.

Or is it? Isn't this what we have in the United States today?

In the midst of the greatest slaughter of human life this nation has ever experienced we have Special Interest Groups claiming that certain civil officials are really, in fact, "pro-life."

Recently, a number of press releases and news articles applauded the nomination of Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson for confirmation as Secretary overseeing the Department of Health and Human Services. They described him as being "very strongly pro-life" and "a conservative, pro-life Republican governor." To make matters worse, some Christians are even repeating this fallacy.

The most important fact these press releases and news articles omitted is that children have been and are being continuously murdered by abortion in the State of Wisconsin.

People are cutting the heads off little babies in Governor Tommy Thompson's state! They have been for all the years he has been the top civil official presiding over that state.

In the face of such slaughter, for people to suggest that any Governor, the Chief Executive of a State, is "pro-life" while under his administration his state promotes and maintains the availability of abortion is, in fact, criminal on their part.

When people call such an official "pro-life" they are aiding and abetting the commission of the crime by bearing false witness. They give the false impression by their words that the Governor is innocent, when, in fact, he is guilty of Maladministration by a High Governing Official for failing to act with all his authority on a chief duty which is to protect innocent people from being murdered, and to move swiftly in making sure all murderers are being prosecuted under every applicable criminal justice code of his state.

Furthermore, by publicly calling any civil official "pro-life" while their state facilitates the murder of any child by abortion, suggests to the heathen that the Word of God can be ignored and that His Commandments prohibiting murder can be made of no effect by the State. The Commandment, "Thou shalt not kill," is to be obeyed by every civil official, who the Holy Bible calls, "the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil." This is a terribly awesome responsibility.

If civil officials with the power to pass laws, adjudicate, and administrate the apprehension and prosecution of murderers refuse to execute that power, then such civil officials have abrogated their authority and damned their own souls to hell. (Rom.13:2) All the dead bodies of the children murdered under their administration bear a true and horrific witness against them. Why do you think everyone hates the bloody pictures of those bodies to be displayed. It is a visual witness against even them.

Our God is a consuming fire. The powers that be are ordained by Him, and innocent blood cries out to Him from the ground.

Just what do you think is going to happen in The Day of Judgment?

"I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment," Jesus said. "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."   (Matthew 12:36-37)

It is sin to call civil officials "pro-life" while children are being murdered in a state that permits and facilitates abortion. It is sin to "bear false witness against thy neighbor." The murdered bodies of these little children stand as evidence and testimony against any false witness.

The innumerable dead bodies, and deafening sound of their innocent blood crying out from the ground plead to a Holy and Just God against the injustice throughout our land. At such a time as this a true witness delivers souls, but a deceitful witness speaks lies. "...and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone." (Rev.21:8)

Stop calling civil officials "pro-life" while anyone can point at an abortion clinic in their state, and call you a liar.
