Judicial Rebellion"THE fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." (Psalm 14:1).History tells us that the Religious War in America really sped up when godless federal judges decided they were no longer going to restrain themselves to interpreting our laws according to the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. They chose instead to trust in the false imaginations of their foolish minds. Of course, the judicial branch is not the only one at fault here. The rebellion goes unchecked by an equally corrupted U.S. Congress and Executive branches. This judicial rebellion led the godless state to oppose the teaching of Creation, defy prayer in public schools, and renounce any mention of Jesus Christ on state property. Not to be outdone by the judicial branch, every year since Roe v. Wade the U.S. Congress tries to remove God from the Pro-Life movement. The latest example of this is Rep. Tom Coburn's (R-OK) "Presence of Life" resolution. You might remember Coburn's name, he's the doctor turned lawmaker who introduced a bill that will "help" the abortion industry regulate butchering little babies and selling their body parts to medical research labs - a really lucrative business for the medical industry. You can tell Coburn is looking out for the vested interest of his first love. His newest contribution is this "Presence of Life" resolution that says: "Expressing the sense of the Congress that the presence of brain wave activity and spontaneous cardiac activity should be considered conclusive evidence of human life for legal purposes." If you missed it read it again where it says, "conclusive evidence... for legal purposes." Now, look at it in the light of the Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights." Notice the Declaration of Independence already proclaims it to be a "self-evident" truth that Life is "created equal," and what our Declaration of Independence states already IS "for legal purposes." When is life created? At the moment of conception. Not when a heart beat or brain waves are detected like Coburn's resolution suggests. The phrase we should all find most alarming is where it says, "for legal purposes." It's obvious that the "Presence of Life" resolution is void of the Presence of a Creator God! In Coburn's secular world of evaluation, Life is "detected," but, in the real world Life is created by a Living Creator God. Coburn's resolution is clearly an attack on the bedrock principles this nation was founded upon. It's a legal trick by Lawless Secular Revisionists to change the self-evident truth that Life is "created" by a living God, to read instead, "life is detected by scientists in the medical profession." It removes the Creator God, Who out of His loving mercy endows us all with certain unalienable Rights at the moment of conception, and replaces Him with a state-god. Coburn's resolution is right out of the Secular Humanist play book. Of course, during an election year we can't expect any more from lawmakers who have prostituted themselves with Special Interest Groups. To them it's a slick deceptive way to say to the folks back home that their Congressman is "pro-life." Yep, I imagine for all the "wolves in sheep's clothing," to have their name alongside the "Presence of Life" resolution on a Voter Guide back home will look really good to unsuspecting Christians. Meanwhile, here in Washington, D.C., Congress went home for Spring Break. However, just up the street from the Capitol Building, the abortion people are cutting the heads off little babies as fast as they can go, and none of our U.S. Congressmen have done anything to stop it. Remember that when you run into your Congressmen back home this spring.
