Revolution, Change and the Atheistic Presuppositionalism of Barak Obama

As time progresses, the political ‘change’ proposed by Mr. Obama begins to crystallize more fully. Time is often the revealer of the truth. This is certainly true in Obama’s case. Mr. Obama’s so-called “Hope for America” was more than just hype, it was an outright deception, carefully planned and unashamedly executed along atheistic lines. During the presidential campaign, his charismatic rhetoric was indeed powerfully persuasive, but only to that particular segment of the American people ignorant of what was actually being proposed. Since there were multitudes that supported him, one must conclude that many Americans were, and still may be, ignorant of the lies being offered. Perhaps now men of sobriety, and understanding can articulate what Obama really meant, by examining what he is actually doing.
Before analyzing what is being done by this atheistic administration, allow me to first set forth some principles. There is no such thing as neutrality. Philosophical neutrality is an absolute myth. It does not exist. It never did, and it never will because it never can. Every individual, including every government official, is bound to his (or her) philosophical presuppositions. These presuppositions construct his world and life view, and it is that world and life view which defines, for him what is right or wrong, good or evil, liberating or tyrannical. These philosophical presuppositions directly determine the governing official’s political decisions, and their implementation decides legislation. Presuppositions explicitly, and dramatically impact the general population, and steer the course of the overall direction of the culture. Simply put, neutrality is an impossibility.
In addition to the myth of neutrality there is the myth of “atheism”. It is common to use the term ‘atheist’ to describe someone who holds to the belief that God does not exist. The term “atheist” is commonly used to describe those who are in fact “theoretical and philosophical atheists” but fail to include those who are “practical atheist”. There is a difference. While the theoretical atheists verbally proclaims “no God”, the practical atheist, lives life as if there is no God. To be sure, the number of practical atheists far exceeds the number of theoretical atheists. The question is never God or no God, but rather whose god or what god. According to Romans 1 verses19 and 21 everyone intuitively has a notion of God. (Rom. 1:19 “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them.” Rom. 1:21 “Because that, when they knew God they glorified Him not as God…)
Man, created in God’s image, inescapably holds to some idea of the God of Scripture. Wicked men, however, choose to ignore, and deny that fact by illegally perverting the innate knowledge that God has placed in them as His image bearers. The mere declaration that there is no God is actually admitting that there IS the God of Scripture to deny. Therefore, when carefully considered, the title of ‘atheist’ is technically inaccurate since every human has an innate, ‘a priori’ knowledge of God. When the Psalmist declares that there is no God (Psalm 53:1) he is precisely stating that only the “fool” will say in his heart “NO God.” Grammatically, however, this verse is not supporting the idea that the fool is an atheist, but rather that the fool is a rebel to the fact of God. The intent of the verse points to the foolish man’s response to the reality and commands of God. The answer the fool gives is one of rebellion. The fool does not say, “I do not believe in God”, but rather he declares directly to God his answer of rebellion. It is as if he is saying, “NO, God, I will not acknowledge You as God, Creator, Lord and King”. The “No” is a rebellious address directly to God.
This same notion holds for Law. It is never a question of law or no law, but rather whose law? The Psalmist explains that the wicked man’s desire is to “cast His bands (i.e. His Laws) from them”. They desire no law but their own humanistic manufactured law. While politicians pledge to legislate only that which is ‘good’, and ‘beneficial’ for the general populace, how can they know what is in fact ‘a good law’ if their presuppositions of God, law and the world, are based upon their own humanistic personal rationale? Is Empiricism a proper standard, or Rationalism, or Epicureanism or stoicism an absolute standard of justice and truth? What is ‘good’ for one may not be good at all for the other. What is good for the many may be in fact evil for the few. So then, how is one to define ‘the good’ if all human means of ethical definitions are subjective, and therefore fallible?
This is no doubt a question of ethics. More particularly this is a question of epistemology. Since everyone draws from a certain set of presuppositions, which make up their particular worldview, they are actually drawing their presuppositions from a particular source of knowledge. For them this source is the unalterable, and absolute maxim of truth. Now whether or not it is actually ‘Truth’ is precisely the issue. Thus, the question is, “What is the True source of knowledge that one should draw from in order to determine what is ‘good’ and ‘right’ as opposed to what is ‘evil’ and ‘wrong’?” This epistemological question asks ‘what is the reliable source of knowledge that will be able to properly define good and evil?’ If the source of knowledge is faulty, then those decisions, which are based upon that epistemological standard, will be faulty, and potentially dangerous. Thus the only realizable, and safe epistemological standard is the Word of God taken from the inerrant Christian Scriptures.
The Obama administration, along with the Democratic Congress, many of the Republican members of Congress, most of the Supremes, and a host of American citizenry, base their standard of right and wrong upon a faulty man-made epistemology. It is for this reason that America is on the precipice of implosion. Too many people, including many Christians, wrongly believe that politics and law can redeem a culture. R.J. Rushdoony said it best. “The necessity of our day is not political action but a return to a Biblical faith.” When the state elevates humanistic law to replace the Law of God it is acting as practical atheists. Whenever the modern state legislates, plans, and operates outside of the Law of God, it is in fact doing so as if God does not exist. The basic premise of that type of state is that God, (and Christianity) is dead. American government now functions upon that premise.
Before I set forth a few particular case studies as proof, it must be again asserted that every decision of life, whether it is a personal or a governmental decision, is one of ethics. Man is an ethical creature, and he is called to make ethical decisions at every turn. This does not mean, however, that he acts according to right ethics in every situation, but rather that he is forced to act in an ethical realm to decide either good or evil. In order to choose the good and reject the evil, he must have a reliable standard by which to make that decision. Again, it is not a matter of law or no law, but whose law. Likewise it is not a matter of God, or no God but which god. The same holds true for religion. Everyone is religious. Not everyone holds to the right and truthful religion, nevertheless everyone is religious in some way and makes decisions based upon the ethical standard of that religion.
If it is true that government is to function for the good and protection of the people to which it serves as a minister of God, (cf. Romans 13) then governmental decisions must be based upon a legitimate ethical standard that is absolutely good and just. Given the horrible nature of man, that standard cannot be man-made. Not only does Scripture testify of man’s sinful nature and inability to be consistently ethical apart from the Grace of God, but history has also proven that man is both unable, and unwilling, to make ethical decisions when he departs from the Law-Word of God and the Christian faith. The heart of natural man is desperately wicked, and when in the position of unchecked power he will become tyrannical.
How does one determine an individual’s epistemology, presupposition and worldview? The answer is simple. We can know them by what they do, and not merely by what they say. The proof is always in the fruit of their actions.
In Thomas J. DiLorenzo’s blog article “The Rush Toward Socialism – and How to Stop It” he writes, “It only took the Obama administration a couple of weeks to prove that the national leadership of the Democratic Party is guided by totalitarian-minded socialists who seek to create an omnipotent government. The U.S. Government is now controlled by people who have been dreaming of living out their utopian socialistic fantasies ever since the fantasies were brought to their attention in college decades ago by their Mao, Castro, Che Guevara poster-hanging, capitalistic-hating college professors.” DiLorenzo is absolutely correct in his assessment of the situation. While his blog focuses upon the economic atrocities of this administration the real problem is fundamentally one of ethics. Consider the laundry list of wicked accomplishments by the Obama administration particularly by the instigation of Mr. Obama himself through executive oppression.
On the abortion issue, Obama has repealed the pro-life Mexico City policy of Ronald Reagan and agreed to send American taxpayer dollars overseas to fund on-demand abortions. According to a recent Gallup poll, 58% of Americans disapprove of this decision. This poll obviously is of no concern for the president, even if his decision is immoral, biologically, as well as economically.
In addition to the escalation of funded abortions overseas, Obama has also escalated his agenda of death here at home in America by simply “ordaining” the sociopath “Science Czar”, John Holdren, to structure a ‘Comprehensive Planetary Regime for forced abortions as a means of population control’. Obama is not alone in this Godless, human-hating, philosophical position. According to World Net Daily, and Front Page Magazine, the outgoing Godless Supreme Court Judge Ruth Ginsberg concurs with Holdren, and was under the impression that the decision of Roe v. Wade would “eliminate undesirable members of the populace”. Rev Clenard H. Childress Jr. of Blackgenocide.org, in a protest against the NAACP during the week of July 13th 2009, stated, “With the present administration’s aggressive abortion agenda, it is ever more imperative that the NAACP inform its body of the decimating effects of abortion on the African American community”.
Concerning the homosexual agenda, Obama is as aggressive as he is on the abortion agenda. His latest comment encouraging the American people to soften their views and embrace sodomite lifestyles so as to accept it as simply another alternative to marriage was telling, but certainly of no surprise to the watchful. While supporting, advocating, and protecting this immoral lifestyle, Obama, at the same time, has begun measures to censure any speech against it. Along with other members of the Apostate Congressional Fascists Party, Obama’s “hate crime agenda” supposedly enacted to protect sodomites, while silencing ministers of the Gospel, is another evidence of his debauched, God-hating world view.
It is obvious that abortion and the homosexual agendas both target American families, but more importantly, they attack the Truth of God’s Word. What is not so obvious is that these blasphemous agendas can only result in the death of our nation. The Obama Administration is propagating a culture of death. It is a simple as that.
Politically too, Obama has shown himself to be an atheistic-fascist and a Marxist. By consistently and categorically denying and rebelling against the Word of God, Obama clearly has exhibited atheistic characteristics that a true Christian would never dare, nor be able to in right conscience, exhibit. The Scriptures clearly testify that when a man is a Christian, (not a make-believer – but a true believer by the Grace of God), he will bow to the Word of God as his standard of truth, and implement it to the Honor of His Lord to the best of his ability. All his presuppositions will be Biblically based, and thus his world and life view will be God-honoring, conformed to the mandates of God’s Holy Law for the good of the people.
As a Marxist, Obama has made stunning inroads into our catatonic American population. The German Karl Marx (1818-1883) was a revolutionary atheist who believed that, just as capitalism replaced feudalism, so would socialism replace capitalism. This in turn would lead to a stateless, classless egalitarian society. Hummm. Sound familiar? Just for the record, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot and Kalinin also held Marx’s ‘atheistic’ views.
Centralization was a key to Marx’s utopia. Consider the following list taken directly from Marx’s work the Marx’s ‘Communist Manifesto’; which was essential for a Communist Social order to be established:
1. Abolition of all private property making them public. (Taxation is ownership. Therefore the government owns everyone’s “private property. The plan: Property Taxation to the point of foreclosure. In a recent news report, the government is now purchasing foreclosures, and then renting those properties to American families. Brought to this logical conclusion the government will also be in the rental property business, renting to those same families dispossessed of their homes. Thus another move toward totalitarianism)
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. (America’s Trillion Dollar deficit to be paid by the citizenry over many generations.)
3. Abolition of inheritance rights so as to keep the families poor and dependant upon the state.
(This move will ensure that every generation will remain indebted to the so-called egalitarian state.)
4. Confiscation of property from immigrants and rebels. (Eminent Domain)
5. Centralization of Credit in the hands of the state by means of a national Bank with exclusive monopoly.
(Bank bailout = Bank ownership)
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state. (The Airlines are already federalized as are some of the highways – the Internet is next)
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state.
(Government take-over of GM, Crystal et al. There is now talk of regulating electricity and heat to private homes, and mandating homes to become “Environmentally friendly” before they can be ‘legally’ sold)
8. Establishment of industrial armies especially for agriculture. (Farmers, and food production are already controlled by the Government)
9. Gradual abolition of the distinction between town, and county. (This is being discussed throughout many localities at this present time, even in my home town)
10. Free education, i.e. Government schooling so as to advance the Communist agenda. (This is why the Christian Home education movement is such a threat to the Socialists and Fascists.)
For a moment consider Obama’s economic agenda. It is incredible how the Obama Administration has gotten away with so much without the entire country in riotous opposition. This only shows the depth, and breath of the people’s ignorance who are willing to tolerate such thievery and plunder. In the name of ‘Nanny-State Security’, (or as I call it ‘Egypt-Care), it is as if the American people have been hypnotized by the prophetic anti-Christ, hoping that he really is the legitimate Messiah. I can tell you he is not. Nor do I believe that we are at the end of time. We are rather under the frowning providence of God as a result of the apathy, and cowardice of mainstream Christianity, its pastors, and people.
What Obama has accomplished, and will continue to bring to a full end, is the stripping of America’s wealth over many generations. As the brilliant economic philosopher F.A. Hyack prophetically stated so many years ago, “We are on the road to serfdom”. I marvel that so many still do not realize what has happened to them in light of the bogus “stimulus debacle” that can only stimulate the swift demise of American prosperity? Two significant factors directly contributing to this problem are the government schools, and the general depravity of man who love the “free-lunch” government promises, which is never able to grant. How long will we go through these cycles of tyranny and plunder by liars and charlatans before we wake up? How long will the Church and her leaders, remain effeminate, hiding behind their fabricated piety, frightened, and unwilling to stand for the Sovereign Lord who they feign to worship on each Lord’s Day?
The list of destructive political and economic policies continues to mount up, but rather than burden the reader further, allow me to conclude with a simple analysis and tactical suggestion. Obama is not a Christian man. He is, rather, an arrogant power hungry rebel who has positioned himself against the Lord, and against His Christ. Like the atheist Nietzsche, who stated, “I cannot believe in a God who constantly desires to be praised”, Obama has denied the praises of Him who is Lord of Life and Creator of all things by framing iniquity by man-made laws. He has done this in extreme defiance, and in total rejection of God’s Holy Law. He has trifled with God. What he does not know is that God will not be trifled with. This analysis is given without passion and without prejudice. It is the fact. Obama’s actions, as the governor of this Christian-based nation, prove that he is an extreme apostate and cannot be supported by any Christian man women or child not matter what their political, or racial affiliation.
While Mr. Obama is a product of atheistic-fascism, and Marxism, the postmodern church is a product of Enlightenment thinking. Theological Scholar, Philosopher and Statesmen, Dr. R.J. Rushdoony’s insight is very telling: “With the Enlightenment, the churches limited their sphere, and God’s sphere, to the spiritual realm. Before long, God became the absentee landlord of the physical Universe…The state, and most of life, was thus freed from God to follow a humanistic course.”
An Egyptian Pharaoh is bringing us to our knees as a result of the church’s humanistic leaning, and I believe the worst is yet to come if things do not change from within the Christian community. With that being said, let me note that the election of Barak Obama, despite the horrid nature of his policies, has been the best thing for this nation. This administration’s wickedness has awakened so many to what faithful men have been saying from certain pulpits all over the nation for years; that the man who rules must be just, ruling in the fear of the Lord. No other type of man should ever be in the position of governance. No other man should be supported by a vote or by an acclaim, especially from Christians. When this simple principle character trait is ignored the nation is in peril. Obama is a disgrace to our national Christian heritage and a smoke in the nose of the Almighty.
The people of America have an opportunity to change the tide of this nation to some extent at the mid-term elections. Christians must band together to vote Biblically. If there is not a God-fearing man to run for a Local, State or Federal seat, find one that meets God’s requirements, and support only that man. We must do away with the politicians, and raise up God-fearing Statesmen-for only the true Statesman will serve the King of kings for the good of the people according to the Law of God.
Rev. Dr. Joseph Morecraft writes, “When men with godly leadership abilities refuse to take upon themselves the yoke of political authority for the benefit of their friends, family, and fellow patriots, then ungodly, misdirected, reckless, unproductive, and oppressive leaders will rush to the fountains of power.”
The church must labor to raise up men who will meet the Biblical standards for governance. Statesman and Theologian Dr. Einwechter asks. ”Where will these men come from who are qualified if not from the covenant people? If there are no men qualified for a particular office, it is because the church has failed; it is not because Biblical standards are unworkable in the present context. The goal of the church should be to have a biblically qualified man running for every civil office in the land.”
May God convict us, equip us, galvanize us, and send us into this battle of ideologies for the Glory and advancement of His Kingdom. Deo Vindice!
