Christians Should Not Vote For A Thief

Mike Huckabee's Record
Julia Foster / American Free Press:
For 10 years, as governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee supported amnesty and taxpayer-financed welfare and health care for illegal aliens and increased taxes numerous times. Now, after sniffing the political winds, he poses as tough on illegal aliens and a tax-whacker. His recent conversion has inspired many evangelical Christians to flock to his support, as they did to President Jimmy Carter in 1976—with disastrous results. Many are unaware that Huckabee’s record betrays his new-found words.

Updated Huckabee White Paper
The Club for Growth:
Washington -- The Club for Growth released an updated white paper on former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. "Over the past ten months, Governor Huckabee's embrace of his liberal economic record as governor and his populist, protectionist rhetoric on the campaign trail has only confirmed the Club for Growth's original assessment," said Club for Growth President Pat Toomey. "Huckabee himself admits that he is a 'different kind of Republican,' a code word for more government involvement, less personal freedom, and greater dependence on government bureaucrats."

The Huckster File
John Keller / LewRockwell.com:
I received an email from a friend urging me to donate to Mike Huckabee's campaign for President, so I pulled together his top 10 scandals and fired them back. I've added source citations in order to demonstrate that his scandals are not being manufactured by some Swift Boaters with a few websites. They are well documented, many are on camera, and are cross-referenced by multiple national media outlets. Forward as needed to the Huckabee boosters in your life.

John Lofton: Huckabee Is Clueless
The American View Radio:
John Lofton does the research and finds that Mike Huckabee did NOTHING to stop the murder of children by abortion while he was governor of Arkansas. This American View radio program examines - from a Biblical/Constitutional perspective — the record of Baptist preacher and former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee on: God & government; abortion; illegal immigration; education; and the Iraq War. When viewed from this perspective, his record is - to put it charitably — not good.

Hitler-Huckabee Similarity
Chuck Baldwin / The Covenant News:
We Desperately Need The "Confessing Church" - For those of us living in a country and time far removed from Hitler's Germany, it is hard to comprehend how that nation's Christians--and especially its ministers--could have been so thoroughly taken in by old Adolf. Germany's Christians and pastors surrendered their hearts and minds to Adolf Hitler, because they believed him to be one of them. What they never would have surrendered to a professing agnostic, they gladly surrendered to a professing Christian. Truly, fascism came to Germany "wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross." More than any other Republican Presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee carries his Big Government machinations on a cross.

Mike Huckabee Supported Real ID Act
Mary Benoit / JBS.org:
In a letter to Michael Chertoff, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, then-Governor Mike Huckabee wrote in support of the Real ID Act. The letter states, in part: "we want to reemphasize our commitment to working with you to implement the REAL ID statute."

Ditch The Preacher Man
Mary Starrett / NewsWithViews.com:
The fact that the media are toadying up to president wanna-be Mike Huckabee should tell you all you need to know. He is not, never has been, nor will he suddenly turn into, a statesman who will get the United States back on a constitutional track. The media have for one reason only blessed Mike Huckabee; and it has nothing to do with his profession of faith in the Nazarene. Media have anointed him a 'frontrunner' despite his profession of Christian beliefs. The reason is, Mike Huckabee embraces enough big-government, left-leaning socialist policies and ideology that his Christianity can be forgiven him by a press corps decidedly hostile to all that honors Providence.

Mike Huckabee: A Double-Minded Man
The American View Radio:
He refuses to defend the faith, running away from his we-must-take-this-nation-back-for-Christ statement; he says he'd have no problem appointing atheists to positions in his administration; he won't say what God says about homosexuality; he's against criminal penalties for women who murder their children by abortion; and, of course, there's that unbelievably stupid and dishonest press conference where he says he's done an anti-Romney Ad but decided not to show it – and then he shows it so they can see what he's decided not to show!

Reaction To Huckabee Criticism
John Lofton / The American View:
OK. First, below, you'll read the press release I put out. This will be followed by all the emails I've received on this subject. Note, please, that there is virtually no response to any of the specifics in the press release - none. Oh, well. That is one of the Big Problems isn't it? - those who say they are Christians but don't seem to care what God says about anything.

Mike Huckabee & Rick Warren
Pastor Matt Trewhella / The Covenant News:
In this ABC interview Mike Huckabee states that he attends a church in Little Rock modeled after Rick Warren's Saddleback Church in California. He also attended seminary with Warren. This article reveals why I have been wary to throw my support behind Huckabee. I sensed the same old two-faced lip-service that the Republicans are famous for when it comes to the paramount matters of abortion and homosexuality when watching Huckabee speak.

What Do Republicans Really Want?
Chip McLean / NewsWithViews.com:
Out of seemingly nowhere, Mike Huckabee has emerged as a front-runner. He won rather handily in Iowa and polls as of this writing indicate he will win New Hampshire as well. Huckabee is a former preacher – nothing wrong with that. The problem is that he sees Christian charity in terms of using the federal government – and your tax dollars – in order to accomplish the goal. He's on record as supporting Bush's debacle of an education bill, "No Child Left Behind." He’s also stated that he would sign a ban on pubic smoking should such a bill be passed by congress. Big government nanny state-ism is still big government nanny-state-ism, regardless of motive or “good intentions.” It is most assuredly not conservative.

Huckabee Exposed as New World Order Puppet
The National Expositor:
Mike Huckabee recently named Richard Haas (the President of the CFR) as his advisor on foreign policy. CNN's Wolf Blitzer asked "Who are your principal foreign policy advisers, Governor?" Mike Huckabee responded: "Well, I have a number of people from whom I get policy. I'm talking to Frank Gaffney, I talk to Richard Haas.." So what does Richard Haas believe in? Here's an article below which was written by Haas for the Tapei Times. It basically states the Bill of Rights and Constitution should be given up in favor of a cooperative world body run by elite consensus.

The Huckabee Hustle
Selwyn Duke / NewsWithViews.com:
When evangelicals embraced Jimmy Carter during the 1976 presidential campaign, they didn't know he would repudiate the Southern Baptist Convention a generation later. Today the very same constituency has glommed onto Mike Huckabee, and I can't help but lament how history truly does repeat itself. One can see why the man I dubbed "Huck the Huckster" would appeal to evangelicals. He's a pro-life Southern Baptist minister with charm, wit and a good-ol'-boy, yuck-it-up style. Yet this resplendent exterior only serves to obscure the stain of liberal sin.

Huckabee's Federal Department of Education
Jim Rudd
This YouTube clip shows Mike Huckabee speaking at a National Education Association (NEA) Convention extolling BIG government funding for school programs. If you think the Godless, un-Constitutional US Department of Education is bad now, imagine this thieving baby murdering socialist getting his hands on it.

Not only have we shown here on Covenant News that Huckabee is a baby murdering Abortion Regulator and a One World Government globalist warmonger, now we see that he would continue to steal federal tax dollars to fund the Godless, un-Constitutional US Department of Education. It is both appalling and ominous that Christians would even think about voting for such a candidate who promises to continue the thieving, murderous, tyranny of the federal government.

Huckabee's at Odds With Homeschoolers
Rick Fisk / LewRockwell.com:
As a father of three children, who my wife and I homeschool, I am deeply disappointed with the recent endorsement for President of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, by an organization which has helped a lot of us over the years. The Home School Legal Defense Association has come out in favor of a candidate who has touted his Christian beliefs and support of homeschoolers, but whose record belies that support.

HSLDA Holding Up Huckabee
Carmon Friedrich / The Backwate Rrepor:
Not surprisingly, many homeschoolers have decided that Huckabee is their man. Early in the Republican race, Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) gave ex-Governor Huckabee a ringing endorsement, claiming that he would be the friend of homeschoolers and hold the conservative Christian banner high if elected president. I do find this surprising—while the average homeschooler may not be politically informed and know the background of a candidate who pushes all the right buttons in a high-profile political contest, and they count on the recommendations of trusted sources for whom to vote in big races, HSLDA does have the whole scoop which means they ought to know better.

The Huckster
Bret McAtee / The Backwater Report:
huck·ster (hkstr) — (n.) One who uses aggressive, showy, and sometimes devious methods to promote or sell a product.
Captain Obvious here reporting that Mike Huckabee is no conservative. Huckabee is just another neo-conservative, big government, tax and spend, pro-immigration, pro-global warming, felon loving politician, who embarrassingly enough is an ex preacher who 'loves Jesus.'

Huckabee Is A Liberal In Many Ways
Howard Phillips / The Conservative Caucus:
Huckabee Apparently Believes You Are A Bigot If You Oppose Benefits For Illegal Aliens: "On illegal immigration, Huckabee makes George Bush sound like Rep. Tom Tancredo (R.-Colo.). Huckabee has compared illegal aliens to slaves brought here in chains from Africa, saying, 'I think, frankly, the Lord is giving us a second chance to do better than we did before.'

Christian Right Just Doesn't Get It
Chuck Baldwin / The Covenant News:
Have you wondered why Mike Huckabee is suddenly getting so much favorable attention from the mainstream media? To find the answer as to why a professing pro-life, conservative Christian would suddenly become the darling of the media, look no further than the fact that just a couple of months ago, Mr. Huckabee appeared before the globalist-minded Council on Foreign Relations. (Read his speech here) And when he did, it became abundantly clear that Huckabee was a man globalists could trust. By the way, as you read Huckabee's speech, you will find that he is George W. Bush on steroids!

More On 'Slick Mike' Hucksterbee
The American View Radio:
Buddy Hanson's new book; More On "Slick Mike" Huckabee; Romney’s Mormonism; Diane Sawyer's embarrassing ignorance re: Christianity. All this and more as we wish everyone a: Merry Christmas; Happy Hanukah, Krazy Kwanzaa, Rockin' Ramadan and – to our Japanese listeners – an obstreperous Omisoka.

The Religious Right Crucifies America
Alan Stang / NewsWithViews.com:
Suddenly, we are told, the man from Hope is blitzing up the Iowa polls. No, not the Arkansas slime ball and rapist, not Bill Clinton; the other man from Hope, Mike Huckabee. Hope is a town that, man for man, probably produces more candidates for President than any other. If all this new support for Huckabee is real, where is it coming from? It is coming from the Religious Right. Huckabee after all is a Baptist preacher. Some Ron Paul people lament the fact that the Religious Right does not support him.

Hucabee Is A Liberal In Many Ways
Howard Phillips / Covenant News Wire:
Huckabee Apparently Believes You Are A Bigot If You Oppose Benefits For Illegal Aliens: "On illegal immigration, Huckabee makes George Bush sound like Rep. Tom Tancredo (R.-Colo.). Huckabee has compared illegal aliens to slaves brought here in chains from Africa, saying, 'I think, frankly, the Lord is giving us a second chance to do better than we did before.' "Toward that end, when an Arkansas legislator introduced a bill that would prevent illegal aliens from voting and receiving state benefits, Huckabee denounced the bill, saying it would rile up 'those who are racist and bigots.'
