A Nation of Cowards!

"A nation that dresses women like men and then places them in harm's way so their enemies can shoot at them, is a nation of cowards and 'abomination unto the LORD thy God'" . -- Jim Rudd

Bush Kills Sixty-One Women in Iraq
President Bush is not ignorant of the fact that young American women are being dressed in men's combat uniforms and then placed in situation where they are being killed. As Commander in Chief, Bush's approval of women being place in harm's way, is not only a disgrace, it's a cowardice act that brings utter shame upon the United States of America. All Things Considered / NPR:
Sixty-one women in the U.S. military have been killed by hostile fire in Iraq — more than twice as many female casualties suffered since women were allowed to join the military after World War II. The number indicates that women are playing new roles in combat zones. The new data comes from a report by the Rand Corporation examining how the Army assigns women to units in Iraq. The Pentagon released the report this month.

U.S. Women In 'Combat'
By John Lofton / The American View
It's not that I needed another reason to despise our war in Iraq. It is, after all, un-Biblical and un-Constitutional. In fact, I already had the reason I'm about to discuss as a reason against this hideous war. But, this reason was brought home to me again when I read a recent story on the front page of "The Washington Post," a piece headlined: "Women After War/The Amputees/Limbs Lost To Enemy Fire, Women Forge A New Reality."

Army Chief Seems To Treat Women In Combat Issue Lightly, As A Joke, Like Women Driving Cars - Whether he knew it or not, Gen. Schoomaker was being asked if he agreed with the Christian view that one role of men is to protect women. Well, he does not.

Transvestitism, Egalitarianism, and Women in Combat

In their zeal to prop up a Christ-professing president, Evangelicals are turning a blind eye to the fact that some grand moral failings are taking place on his watch while he cruises the heartland flipping-off the unsuspecting, takes in Shinto shrines, celebrates Ramadan, and publicly equates Allah with the triune God.

Mr. President, Bring Our Ladies Home

The question is not whether women are valiant enough or able enough to serve in combat because they are and may very well be. The question is whether they should be even fighting in the first place.

Sissy Men in The White House

WASHINGTON -- The Pentagon will miss Congress' March 31 deadline for certifying that the Army's reorganization of war-fighting brigades is abiding by its rule that women not serve in direct land combat or in support units that embed in those units, according to an internal memo.

Miliary Violating 'Women in Combat' Ban
By Rowan Scarborough / The Washington Times
A pro-military group is charging that the Army is violating the Defense Department's ban on women in land combat by collocating mixed-sex support units with war-fighting soldiers.

While surfing the web the other day, I came across a story from the Washington Times titled "Army Charged with Ban Violation." The story describes several controversial new reorganizations going on in the US Army, especially as they relate to women soldiers.

Military Is No Place For Women
By Tom Shine and Maddy Sauer / ABC News
Over 500 cases of sexual assault have been reported among U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan since the summer of 2002, according to the executive director of the Miles Foundation, a nonprofit group that tracks sexual crimes in the military.

GOP Supports Women In Combat
Republicans in the US Congress have ditched a flat ban on women in combat. The House Armed Services Committee watered down proposals which would stop women from serving in support teams which back up front-line combat troops.

Military Wages War On Your Gender
Henry Makow / Ether Zone
The US army is circumventing laws that shield women from combat dangers. The reason isn't just a shortage of male recruits. It is part of a larger psychological strategy to render us dysfunctional and docile by undermining heterosexuality and the nuclear family by denying/erasing male-female differences. We are victims of Orwellian social engineering so successful that we don't even realize it happened.

What Kind of Nation Sends Women into Combat?
By R. Cort Kirkwood, Jr.
The ridiculous spectacle of rescued POW Pfc. Jessica Lynch, the feisty, ballyhooed warrior of the Army's 507th Maintenance Company, which was butchered early on in Iraq, occasioned the usual war whoops. Yet no one asked a simple question: What in heaven's name was a hundred-pound girl, barely out of pigtails and high school, doing in a combat zone?

Women in Combat

"In the lull of peacetime, regulations that kept women in uniform at a safe distance from combat were lifted. We are now paying the price and being made to think that our national defense rests on the ability to deploy teenage girls and single mothers. What a disgrace." —Kate O'Beirne, author of Women Who Make the World Worse: and How Their Radical Feminist Assault Is Ruining Our Schools, Families, Military, and Sports.

Does Bush Care?
By George Neumayr
Over the objections of George Bush's military, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Cal.) passed an amendment to a defense authorization bill on Wednesday that would prevent the Army from placing female soldiers in "direct ground combat" units. Bush's military has been forming the beginnings of a coed front line, placing women in these forward support units, which is a violation of the law.
