New Federal 'Hate' Bill Means Funeral of Free Speech

On Sept 14, the Orwellian federal “anti-hate” bill, AMDT.2662 (The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2005), was passed by the House of Representatives. It will establish a “hate crimes” bureaucracy in America, just like Canada’s, ending free speech. This legislation gives special federal protection to select groups including homosexuals. Throughout history, many homosexuals have sodomized underage boys. Incredibly, AMDT.2662 was inserted into the text of the Children’s Safety Act of 2005 (HR3132). Many house members, too busy to read the bill, thought they were protecting children. Actually, they were doing the opposite!

House Approves 'Anti-Hate' Bill

Freedom of Speech Now In Jeopardy, Passage of
Thought Crimes Bill Spells Doom To Free Talk Radio

In a surprising move, the House of Representatives on September 14, 2005 approved "The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2005," HR2662, as an amendment to the Children'S Safety Act, HR3132. It was approved 223-199. The Senate is expected to also approve a similar amendment within a month. This federal legislation, orchestrated by the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith will lead to creation of a vast anti-hate bureaucracy in America, similar to what now exists in Canada.

American Life Under a National ID Card

"The Real ID bill that has just passed Congress and will establish a national ID card within the next 18 months will transform all state motor vehicle departments into agents of the federal government. They have now been told to install a high tech computer chip into every single drivers license in every single state. That chip will be used to carry either a finger print or voice print. It will be used to track almost every single transaction made by every single American, including buying guns, using credit cards, buying gas, getting on an airplane or a train."

New World Order Timeline

Significant Dates in the Creation of the New World Order
Perhaps the best way to relate a brief history of the New World Order, would be to use the words of those who have been striving to make it real throughout the ages. You will be amazed at how far back this grand plan has extended, and how many similarities there are in early Century 21 compared to the 1990's, with two Presidents from the Bush family in power. Corral, gun-control advocates will launch an international campaign to alert travelers about a new state law that allows people to use deadly force in self-defense. On Saturday it will become legal to use force on an attacker without first trying to escape the confrontation. Supporters say the measure, which they dub the "Stand Your Ground" law, allows residents to protect themselves by meeting force with force.

Flashback: Hillary Clinton Says Internet News Needs 'Rethink'

Clinton was asked whether she favored curbs on the Internet, after the DRUDGE REPORT made headlines with coverage of her husband's affair with a White House intern. "We are all going to have to rethink how we deal with this, because there are all these competing values ... Without any kind of editing function or gatekeeping function, what does it mean to have the right to defend your reputation?" she said.

Out-of-line preschoolers increasingly face expulsion

Expelled at age 3 seems a brutal way to start an academic career. But researchers say it's an increasingly common occurrence. Each year, about 5,000 children are asked to leave state-financed preschools, which include some private institutions, a rate three times higher than public school students in kindergarten through grade 12, according to a report by the Yale University Child Study Center.

German Homeschoolers to Flee to America?

Immigrants fleeing Europe to escape religious persecution, coming to America to find religious freedom — we think of that as an image from our past: the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth Rock, William Penn, Lord Calvert. But it’s happening today. German Christians are trying to find a way to emigrate to the United States to preserve their faith and their families from persecution by an aggressively secular German government.

Homeschooling As A Better Alternative To Public School

Hundreds of thousands of families have made the decision to homeschool. According to Christine Scheller, an estimated three to four percent of the school age population, approximately two million students, participate in homeschool (Scheller 47). While the reasons for individual decisions to homeschool may vary, many parents cite serious concerns about the academic failures of the public school system and the on-campus social exposure of students to the use of tobacco, drugs, alcohol, and sexually explicit behaviors.

Author: Creation vs. Evolution “A Battle to the Death”

What happens when a creationist tries to state his case at a national convention of teachers? Dr. Jobe Martin had that experience at the last National Education Association (NEA) convention, presenting his book, The Evolution of a Creationist, to the nation’s biggest teachers’ union. “They came up to our table and cursed us, gave us the finger, took our books and videos and threw them in the trash. They were as abusive as they could be,” Dr. Martin said. “But as it says in 1 Peter 4:14, ‘If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you.’ We got plenty of that spirit at that convention.”

Why Does Academe Tilt So Far to the Left?

How did America’s colleges and universities turn into fortresses of Political Correctness where feminists and neo-Marxists rule and Christians had better keep a low profile? Google to take down front-page boast about index size

SAN FRANCISCO -- Google Inc. will stop boasting on its home page about the number of Web pages it has stored in its index, even as the online search engine leader continues a crusade to prove it scans substantially more material than its rivals. The Mountain View, Calif.-based company planned to remove the index size late Monday. It will mark the first time in more than five years that Google hasn't listed the size of its search index on its sparse home page. When Google started the practice in mid-2000, the index spanned 1 billion pages; as of Monday afternoon, Google's home page said the search index contained 8.17 billion pages.

'The Search': A book that googles Google

U.S. Patriot Act forbids companies from making
disclosures about government requests for information

"The Search" tackles such prickly subjects as the serious privacy concerns raised by the reams of data collected by Google's 175,000 computers about the millions of people who use the company's services each day. At one point, Battelle paints a disturbing picture, sketching out a scenario in which the federal government could demand that Google provide personal information about its users in the name of national security. If that were to happen, Google would have to notify all the affected parties, right? Not under the U.S. Patriot Act, which specifically forbids companies from making disclosures about government requests for information. Didn't know that? Don't feel bad. Neither did Brin when Battelle asked him earlier this year about the potential perils of Google becoming a secret tool for the U.S. government.

Yahoo! 'gave e-mail details that helped jail Chinese writer'

Information supplied by the internet giant Yahoo! to Chinese intelligence has resulted in the conviction of a journalist for "divulging state secrets abroad", a respected international press organisation said. Shi Tao, who worked for the daily business publication Dangdai Shang Bao (Contemporary Business News) until he was arrested in November 2004, was sentenced to 10 years in prison last April, in a case underlining the stringent censorship regime which controls the Chinese media. According to Reporters Without Borders (RSF), the text of the verdict on Mr Shi indicated that Yahoo! willingly handed over details which enabled security service investigators to link the journalist's personal e-mail account to to the anonymous message. "Information supplied by Yahoo! led to the conviction of a good journalist who has paid dearly for trying to get the news out," RSF said. "It is one thing to turn a blind eye to Chinese government abuses but it is quite another thing to collaborate."
