Tea Party Protests Planned For Fourth

Independence Day for most Americans means fireworks, barbecue and parades. For many others, it's a chance to exercise their right to free speech through political protest. Tea Party protests, in which people gather to protest against taxes and "big government," will be held this weekend at different sites throughout the region. Organized locally, parties allow participants to voice their opposition to things they consider unreasonable, among them taxes, government spending and the national debt.
