Defeat The National ID Card

The Real ID or National ID Card needs to be defeated.
Besides being unconstitutional, it has very little to do with our security, but more to do with us little by little losing our liberties. It is a threat to our privacy as well. The Real ID Act will allow the routine tracking of individuals and that will propel us toward a surveillance society. It will cause long lines, repeat trips and higher fees for people trying to get licenses and IDs at the DMV. Also, there will be a hidden tax increase forcing Americans to pay more in state taxes to help offset the billions of dollars that this act will cost us.
