Rehnquist's Cancer Treatment May Be Critical

WASHINGTON -- The combination of radiation and chemotherapy being given to Chief Justice William Rehnquist may be an indication that his thyroid cancer is an aggressive type, according to cancer experts. The court has released few details about Rehnquist's illness. The combination of chemotherapy and radiation, which the court said Monday is being given to Rehnquist, is the normal treatment for the much more aggressive anaplastic thyroid cancer, said Dr. Ann M.
