Pryor Opposes Lawsuit Seeking Moore's Return
Pryor Opposes Lawsuit Seeking Moore's Return, Federal judge Sets Timetable
MOBILE - A federal judge has set a timetable for filing motions on Attorney General Bill Pryor's request to dismiss or move a lawsuit that seeks to return former Chief Justice Roy Moore to office. Mobile lawyer Jim Zeigler filed the suit on behalf of Christian talk show host Kelly McGinley of Mobile, who alleges that she has been "disenfranchised" as a voter by the removal of Moore. U.S. District Judge William H. Steele, in an order Wednesday, set Dec. 8 as the deadline for motions opposing Pryor's request for dismissal or change of venue. He gave attorneys until Dec. 15 for filing a reply to those motions. Steele's decision isn't expected before Dec. 15. Attorneys will be notified if the court determines oral arguments are necessary.

Latest on Ten Commandments Monument Battle
Commandments Are Our Law
In the Old Testament we see severe, unexpected weather as God’s judgments on nations for wrongs done. Think about it. In a Christian nation, Judge Roy Moore lost his job for keeping the Ten Commandments visible. On the same day, serious, abnormal weather wreaked havoc on the nation. Snow in Los Angeles, just a few days after horrendous fires wrecked Southern California. Abnormally heavy winds in the middle of the nation, and heavy winds along with snow in the Northeast.
Boise rally backs Commandments marker, Alabama Judge
BOISE -- A coalition of people from various local churches voiced their support Friday for both a Ten Commandments monument in Julia Davis Park and an Alabama judge who was removed from office for defending the public display of the stone tablets. But supporters acknowledge they know of no effort to remove the Boise monument, put up by the Fraternal Order of Eagles in 1965.
2003 - A Look Back
Sometimes, looking back helps us see where we're going. So, I thought I'd assemble a few stories and tidbits from this year's news to help provide a wide-angle view of the times we live in for your consideration – a collage of published information from the past year that forms an alarming picture we might not otherwise see by its scattered parts and pieces.
U.S. Gestapo Takin' Names - FBI OUT OF CONTROL!
Predictably and unrelentingly, American government continues to carve out for itself ever-expanding rights and freedoms at the expense of once-free Americans in the name of security measures against terrorism. But, as all informed students of government and political science already know, government, "the state," isn't the least bit concerned about protecting its citizens; it is only concerned about protecting itself.
The IRS Claims New Patriot Act Type
Powers to Punish Political Dissenters
In a precedent-setting case, the IRS wielded new power to punish the political speech of those who “espouse views” the government considers “inconsistent” with government-held beliefs. In a hearing originally closed to the public in a secret tribunal on a military island, but moved to a public location after protests from the press and the public, the IRS wants to wield this power against a former IRS whistleblower who was forced to resign upon his discovery of fraud in the agency. After monitoring and taping the whistleblower’s appearances on Sixty Minutes, talk radio shows, and political publications where he rebroadcast his findings of IRS fraud, the IRS initiated this inquisition against their former whistleblower. This new power may find new political targets soon enough.
Who Are The Bad Guys - Democrats or Republicans?
America is in serious trouble. While most of us would agree with that statement, we would probably disagree as to how the United States got to this point in her history. Who is it that has been working towards the destruction of the America that we once called the “land of the free and the home of the brave”? As we continue to drift toward loss of sovereignty and head toward world government, our current president and the U.S. Congress recently took another leap in that direction. Did anyone even notice? Does anyone even care?
