Just What is a "Pedophile?"

Dear Daddy:

I was reading in my Covenant News about how a "Pedophile" was released to go back and live in his old neighborhood.

I have often seen other news articles over the years that refer to "pedophiles" being charged in one way or another. Usually the victims are described as little boys, and the "pedophile" is a man. Isn't this also "homosexuality?"

In our culture, it is important to realize that words are powerful weapons. The use of the word "pedophile" or "pedophilia" is a great case to study.

The media loves this word, because it can both be used to label and heap scorn on people you don't like, and also used to protect people, their actions, their political causes, if you like them!

The vast majority of pedophiles are homosexual, yet, you will never see news accounts declaring this. Homosexuals are now victims, you understand, and there can be no criminal activity with them as the perps. Remember this.

So, any accounts of adults having illicit, and/or coercive sex with kids will simply use the word "pedophilia," not heterosexual or homosexual pedophilia.

You see, heterosexual pedophilia is also a very perverted, unnatural act, (worthy of death, says the Bible) but homosexual pedophilia is well, very natural -- to an already perverted homosexual...

If we applied the Biblical standard of punishment to all these perverts -- or even just identified their acts as hetero or homosexual perversion... well, this just wouldn't do in our enlightened culture.

The word "pedophile" can be used to crush a heterosexual, but homosexuals laugh at being called "pedophiles." They even march in parades touting their perversion. Try to get them to publicly denounce this behavior.

They know they don't even have to explain. The nice people of our land are too polite to even ask them to do so.
