Propaganda - The Death Of Truth

The manipulators have done it again; they have convinced most Americans that Muslim hordes will soon impose Shiria law on our nation. Oklahoma is seeking to pass laws prohibiting this dreaded legal system, there are rumors that we have a Muslim president, Muslim prayers are blocking traffic in New York, Islam is a militant religion, and America is being overrun by Muslims. Fear and hate for Muslims is building to a fever pitch.
One email provided a YouTube video of a child being stoned to death supposedly because she would not marry an older man. Incendiary stuff! In response, I sent this message,” I believe this video is more propaganda to foment hate for Muslims and create support for the invasion of Iran. Second, stoning is a penalty for serious infractions of the law and it is intended to be cruel. Third, stoning is the Biblical penalty for several infractions of the Laws God gave to Moses. Fourth, Christianity without the Law is a flaccid religion and that flaccidity is a big factor in the condition we find in our nation today. Fifth, when Christians denigrate Shiria law they build resistance to Christian Law. Sixth, is it proper for the creature to condemn the punishments set out by the creator? Should we be more compassionate than God?”
In response to this message the husband of the lady who sent the email, a couple we have known and exchanged emails with for a number of years, wrote, in part: “Just watched this clip again. Notice how the men doing the stoning didn't mind looking at her (nice) a-- and taking pictures? There is a definite sexual perversion in people who enjoy torture--they may cover it up with some religion or another, but it's there. By the way, just whom in today's world would you assign the task of deciding who deserves stoning? You? Who would be the victims? All who didn't agree with you and your twisted beliefs? (Wife’s name) and I are in shock to learn that someone we considered a friend believes in Sharia law and the stoning to death of a young, innocent child. You're a sick SOB (he wrote the entire word).”
Many Muslim sources deny any doctrine of forced marriage. They contend that it may be practiced in some Muslim cultures but is a cultural, not a doctrinal, phenomenon. Government propaganda is designed to appeal to the foibles of its recipients. Most American Christians do not believe the entire Bible. They do not approach the totality of the Scriptures as the Word of God that must be studied from the perspective of a servant. Instead, they set themselves up as the god of God’s Word with the privilege of concocting their own religion by picking and choosing what they will believe and what they will reject. When the New World culture established by the Puritans and Pilgrims was abolished by hordes of post-Calvinistic, antinomian immigrants, sound theology was slain by the humanistic fruit of Jacob Arminius. It was this human involvement in religious doctrine that set the stage for the Dispensational heresy that has denuded Christianity.
If we can reason away obedience to the Creator and Ruler of the world we can reason away anything and obedience has long been missing from the pulpits of American churches. Christians love New Testament theology. Many attempt to separate the New Covenant from the Old Testament rejecting Hebrew theology as anachronistic. Well over half of the Bible is devoted to recording the actions of God’s Chosen people; the actions that resulted in cursings and those that resulted in blessings. When Christians fail to heed these lessons and allow their nation and their personal lives to displease God they invite the cursings that currently plague us. It is typical for Christians to condemn homosexuality on the basis of God’s Old Testament commandments while ignoring stoning for striking a parent. Both are commandments from the same Law. The Old Testament is used as a source for quotations, to prove points or describe blessings but the cursing God promises for disobedience to His Law are studiously ignored. Without support for God’s Law “Full Gospel” is a misnomer.
Gentle reader, why do you think that all the Christian rhetoric against abortion, homosexuality, unmarried cohabitation, pornography, and blatant Christian bias in the media has completely failed to stem our downward slide? Why have the political efforts of our Christian leaders been utterly worthless? Following the great revival of the late Twentieth Century our nation claims to be over 70 percent Christian. We are governed by elected officials who are controlled by a Satanic power structure that fills our airwaves with filth and has created and codified a legal system that supports it. We are one unfavorable incident away from Martial Law and are already bound by international legal standards that violate our sovereignty. God is patient and often the cursings created by one generation are visited on successive generations. Did our forefathers sin and are we suffering from their sins as well as our own? The Second coming of our Savior that has been predicted and prepared for by American Christians has not yet occurred and predictions on the timing of that sacred event have done more harm than good. Isn’t it time we began to question our defensive tactics?
American Christians and American pagans are equally gullible. They believe and circulate all kinds of derogatory information about Islam, Muslims, and the Koran. A tremendous hate has grown for Arabs. Rumors of their deviant lifestyle abound. As we turn off our TV squelching the promotion of homosexuality, abortion, fornication, adultery, torture, imperialism, and Zionist hegemony, we puff out our chests and consider how superior we are to these low-life followers of Shaira law. In Iran the United States is know as “the great Satan”.
The oligarchs who seek to control us are delighted. Hate will make the coming war with Iran much easier to implement. As the nation prepares for another war laws against hate crimes are selectively ignored, hate for the enemy is encouraged. In my lifetime United States citizens have learned to hate American Indians, Germans, Japanese, Italians, North Koreans, North Vietnamese, Chinese, insurgents, and now Muslims. We have laws against hate crimes while we encourage our soldiers to both hate and kill Arabs. Developing hate for Muslims serves at least two purposes: it creates strife in society by pitting one race against another and enables support for the coming war.
Everyone forgets that it is our government that allows Muslims to immigrate and when Muslims immigrate they bring their religion with them. Very few Americans understand the nature of religion. Though Dr. Rushdoony’s teaching has been available for many years few realize that humanism is a religion. Humanism has already overcome Christianity in the United States. It has done so by codifying laws that oppose righteousness (God’s Law). For several years the humanistic government of the United States has been trying to undermine Iran by created resistance to Shaira law. The last election was marked by strife. So far CIA efforts to undermine Iranian society have been only partially successful.
Though they resent being manipulated and often even dislike government, American patriots eagerly swallow the Shaira law propaganda because their prejudices make them vulnerable. They are incensed at the stoning video even though they cannot be sure it depicts what it claims. Nor can they be sure it was not planted to create the very loathing it generates. No one has ever confronted them with the feasibility of God’s Law and its reprisals. They are disgusted with the lawless immorality that has invaded our nation but are still looking for political solutions. The realization that without the anchor of God’s overarching legal standards human beings struggle with an infinite number of opinions that only power can consolidate. They support the humanistic law we live under without considering that our government has murdered millions more people than would ever have been stoned if the Laws of our Christian God had been enforced. Hate propaganda plays on the human tendency to think of oneself as superior to others. During WWII the full force of American media described Germans as arrogant, ignorant, and morally bankrupt; an irredeemable people worthy of death. The same pattern is now being used on Muslims. Propaganda against Shaira law has been effective because Americans have an imperious attitude that seeks to dominate.
Another of my Christian friends sent me this “proven way to stop Islamic terrorists”: “Once in U.S. history an episode of Islamic terrorism was very quickly stopped. It happened in the Philippines about 1911, when Gen. John J. Pershing was in command of the garrison. There had been numerous Islamic terrorist attacks, so "Black Jack" told his boys to catch the perps and teach them a lesson. Forced to dig their own graves, the terrorists were all tied to posts, execution style. The U.S. soldiers then brought in pigs and slaughtered them, rubbing their bullets in the blood and fat. Thus, the terrorists were terrorized; they saw that they would be contaminated with hogs' blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs. All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies. The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others. This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years. Pointing a gun into the face of Islamic terrorists won't make them flinch. They welcome the chance to die for Allah. Like Gen. Pershing, we must show them that they won't get to Muslim heaven (which they believe has an endless supply of virgins) but instead will die with the hated pigs of the devil.”
In the early years of the Twentieth Century in a conflict marked by major atrocities the United States annexed the Philippines. A number of prominent Americans were against the annexation but as with a host of other military aggressions most of our citizens cheering the victory. As a nation we are proud of our ability to dominate and now that hate for Muslims is reaching its zenith killing and torturing a few million more Arabs would apparently not weigh on our conscience.
If we value our freedom it is time for American Christians to do some soul searching. Christian efforts to return our nation to righteousness have been completely ineffective. The foundation for freedom came from the Protestant Reformation when the divine right of kings was challenged by Christian scholars like Samuel Rutherford who wrote Lex Rex (the law is king). The Republican form of government was birthed during that era. Both rulers and their subjects were to be accountable to the law. God’s Law was to overarch all human law. Citizens, government, and the entire legal code were to be accountable to God’s Law. Without the immutable standard of the overarching legal system of the Creator we are unable to properly govern ourselves. God’s Law is the anchor.
This essay is not to be construed as in any way supporting Shaira law. Islam is a competitive religion that must be vigorously resisted by every Christian. However, Christians must understand that we are living under a government that has been highjacked by evil forces that are attempting to keep us engaged in a perpetual war that is destroying our nation. Dividing our nation, creating hate for designated enemies, and loathing for what God intends as a blessing is part of that agenda.
