A National Inventory Entropy In The Republic
By Al Cronkrite The Covenant News ~ April 30, 2007
“When Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, the ‘train of abuses’ by the Crown that he cited filled half a page. Today, Jefferson's quill could fill volumes, and every abuse is being perpetrated by the very politicians and bureaucrats who swore an oath to uphold the government he helped establish.”P. Gardner Goldsmith
This is the way some of it is as we near the mid-point of the Year of Our Lord 2007.
The government of the United States of America is running the largest financial deficit of any nation in the history of the world. Our debt is now approaching 9 trillion dollars ($9,000.000,000,000). Much of this debt is being held by nations whose economies depend on U. S. consumers. This house of cards can only continue as long as the nations holding the debt are willing to hold it in spite of sizeable decreases in the value of the dollar.
We are engaged in another expensive, pointless, foreign war (A short list, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq I and Iraq II) that has now cost over 400 billion dollars ($400,000,000,000) and continues to go on with the stubborn, irrational support of the current regime and many of our citizens.
Without the scam of the Federal Reserve system this war would be impossible. Tax revenues could not support the tremendous cost involved in fighting foreign wars. Before the advent of the Federal Reserve (Read about it here.) and fiat money (Read about it here.) such wars were avoided. Now, however, the Federal Reserve allows the money machines to print at will. When additional units of currency filter into the world’s economy the value of each unit goes down. It is called inflation but the word does not properly describe the process. When the value of the dollar goes down it takes more dollars to purchase a gallon of gasoline. This causes the price to go up and steals purchasing power from our citizens. A theft of value which amounts to a hidden tax is now going on throughout our economy.
The One World Order is progressing nicely with a purposeful illegal alien invasion across our Southern border that now numbers up to 24 million. Plans are in place to construct a major highway through the center of the nation to allow goods coming from Asia to pass through Mexican ports for distribution throughout the United States. NAFTA, GATT, and CAFTA have been passed by the treasonous votes of our Senators and Congressmen, the Middle Class is fast disappearing, and the standard of living continues to sink as lower paid workers are allowed to decimate our economy. While all this is going on congress is passing legislation that will allow more Asians to enter the country to compete for white collar jobs.
For anyone doing week-end shopping at that paragon of centralization, Wal-Mart, it is quickly obvious that our Christian European culture is long gone being replaced by an untenable, confusing amalgamation of nationalities and languages that defies union.
The enforcement of secular law is beginning. Christians are being harassed for demonstrating against abortion and homosexuality. Recently in South Florida the Florida Family Policy Council was shut down while demonstrating in favor of conventional marriage. Two of the offending police officers mocked the Christians by posing a homosexual kiss. See a picture here.
A couple of years ago a group of Christians demonstrating and reading the Bible at a homosexual “Outfest” were arrested in Philadelphia and charged with a list of offenses that might have resulted in a 47 year prison sentence. Quoting from the Bible was deemed hate speech. They were ultimately exonerated (Read about it here.) by the decision of an honest judge. They were fortunate, honest judges are becoming scarce!
Decades ago Rousas Rushdoony pointed out that there is never a religious void, that tolerance for a new religion is always in preparation for a new intolerance. Christianity has failed to confront sin and is now under attack by the sin it has failed to confront. The intolerance of Christianity that Dr. Rushdoony predicted is now upon us.
Inexorable tyrannical control rooted in the 9/11 disaster is progressing by leaps and bounds. In our town, schools have been disrupted by five bogus bomb threats. Today they are asking students not to bring back packs, lunch boxes, or any other containers to school. Any container can be searched by school authorities.
Fear has cleared a path for an end to freedom in the United States. The War in Iraq was billed as a way to remove an imminent threat; instead it has created a greater threat. Purposeful deceit has invaded almost all public discourse. When the government vows to improve education, invariable education deteriorates. When a program is begun to make us safe it places us in more danger. While our leaders brag about our freedom we are in the process of losing it.
In past years, the fourth estate created a big uproar over any attempt to interfere with their freedom. Often the battle was moral, involving material considered sinful or offensive. The press and media prevailed and today Christianity is regularly debunked, castigated, and demeaned while homosexuality, foul language, fornication, adultery, lying, cheating, torturing, and killing are given free reign.
Where is the honest coverage of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan; where are the investigative reports on questions about the 9/11 tragedy; how about the actual results of International trade treaties; the dangers of the North American Union; presidential candidates that might turn the nation around; or some outrage over the dangers of passing laws restricting free speech in Canada, Germany, and now in the United States?
Does anyone remember when the government reviewed mergers to determine whether or not they were in restraint of trade? Read about the Sherman Anti-trust Act here.
Billion dollar mergers seem to be an everyday occurrence with fewer and fewer larger corporations becoming the rule rather than the exception. Read more here. The symbiotic relationship between government and corporations is slanted on the side of government with regular prosecutions of corporate leaders who defy the rules. Centralization brings facile control. Nevertheless, corporations are major donors to politicians from whom they derive their share of influence. Manipulated in this milieu is the individual voter whose vote is devalued by corporate influence as well as being thoroughly propagandized.
Societal anarchy is just around the corner when local law enforcement begins to complain that witnesses to serious crimes will no longer talk to the police. In most black communities talking with established law enforcement is considered treason. When magistrates begin to insert their opinions and emotions into their decisions, justice vanishes and the courts become useless. Lawless Black youths have lost faith in our system of justice and would rather take matters into their own hands. Craftiness has no place in the administration of justice. When justice fails in the court system, power and law become synonymous. Read more here.
It is not difficult to understand why our nation is becoming more lawless. The behavior of our leaders provides everyone an excellent example. All of our national elected officials take an oath to support and obey the Constitution but most of them not only regularly disobey their oath but are hopelessly ignorant of its mandates. When oaths and the law mean nothing to leaders, it is easy to understand why our system of justice is failing. For the majority of our elected representatives plush jobs and exorbitant retirements seem to be much more important than the welfare of the nation. Their failure to enforce the Constitutional responsibility to be the sole arbiter of war is a tragic disregard for the Oath of Office.
As we approach the next presidential election in 2008 there is no chance of a popular voter uprising that would change our direction. The press and media will determine the leading candidates. Those chosen will either already support the proponents of the one world order or they will acquiesce to doing so. True patriots will not be given a voice in the proceedings. In spite of this insidious manipulation many citizens will vote for what they consider the best candidate.
History has fallen into disrepute. Every new generation builds its culture on the knowledge and wisdom of previous generations. First it was information passed from one individual to another, then the written word was added, and today we have films and DVDs as well as the power and storage capacity of computers. No individual or group could enjoy the benefits of our time without those who have gone before us.
Pride and arrogance in the United States is not humbled by bequeathed gifts. Instead we barge ahead with a contemporary perspective minus the wisdom of the ages. Nowhere is it more evident than in the Protestant Christian Church where thousands of egocentric pastors divide and emasculate their religion by ignoring the rich, diligently honed Christian heritage passed on by the Reformation; opting instead to favor their own biased opinions.
The tragedy of all this is multiplied by the fact that Jesus sits at the right hand of God, The Father Almighty, having been made King of all creation. His Spirit provides forgiveness from sin and the power to obey. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the only source of righteousness and His immutable Laws are the only remedy for the chaos that fills our world. The opinions of men will always bring wars, tortures, murders, genocides, and mass slaughters. These are the abominations that fill the tenor of our times.
The Kingdom of God is here! It has been here since Jesus was enthroned on the right hand of God, The Father Almighty. You ask why our world is in such chaos? The chaos is caused by disobedience. All that is now needed for peace and prosperity on a world-wide basis is obedience to God’s Laws! Obedience must start with Christians and as others follow, peace and prosperity will overtake the world. It is the only antidote to the impending slavery of the one world order.
