Christian Riffraff A House Divided

Weakness is often a result of Internal division. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways and a house divided against itself cannot stand.
A nation divided can be conquered when that same nation of one mind would stand.
Under Saddam Hussein the factions in Iraq were held together by force but, now that he has been murdered, Iraq is seriously divided. Even if victory is elusive, the division in Iraq will make it easier to control.
The United States itself has been summarily sliced and diced. It is divided over religion and secularism; it is divided by multiculturalism; it is divided by religious theology; it is divided by political parties; government clashes with citizens creates another division; there is a division between the wealthy and not so wealthy, between corporations and the good of the nation; between hedonism and morality; it is divided over support for Israel and over the War in Iraq; it is divided over the authenticity of 9/11 debacle; and last but not conclusive it is divided over the conspiracy question. Divisions mitigate the fall of our nation into tyranny.
In a conversation with the Editorial Page Editor of our local newspaper, the Council on Foreign Relations was mentioned. The Editor had never heard of the organization.
Following several sentences loaded with invective against anyone who believes in conspiracy theories a writer chided that he had never even heard of the Bilderbergers!
While denial of a conspiracy to merge the United States into a North American Union and eventually into a One World Order seems ludicrous to those of us who have followed the implementation of the plan, the majority of our citizens have not read about it and dismiss what is easily provable without any attempt to verify authenticity. When they do this, they opt against Biblical truth in favor of humanism. Jesus was victim to a conspiracy and since the fall of Adam conspiratorial sin has been the expected action of fallen men and especially those who do not recognize King Jesus.
Contemporary talk show hosts are a crass bunch of puffed up sadists who usually press their advantage to put forth their own agenda over the voice of the caller. Michael Medved, movie critic, author, moralist, Yale graduate, and defender of Jewish demeanor, has a radio talk show on which among other things he spends an inordinate amount of time browbeating anyone who believes in conspiracies. The bulk of the United States Jewish community vote Democratic. The Democratic platform and the planks of the Communist Party involve enough similarity for Russian Jewish immigrants to join out of nostalgia for their former support of Marxism. In spite of the conflict involved, most Jewish Neo-Conservatives have a visceral support for the Iraq War and President Bush for making it a reality. Some of this spirit may be involved in Michael Medved’s vehement anti-conspiratorial rhetoric.
It is a tragic situation when men and women who command large audiences stubbornly support erroneous positions. Medved is a Jewish Zionist whose Orthodox Judaism would again condemn Christ to the Cross. Hundreds of thousands of Zionist Christians are supporting not only Orthodox Jews like Medved but the secular humanist Jewish cabal that conducts the affairs of Israel. The theological ignorance behind this position is an abject catastrophe.
Two ingredients of this abysmal situation are a lack of knowledge of history and the failure of Christian preachers to confront contemporary sin and to teach the doctrine of original sin.
It was often forgiven, but persistent sin capped with the rejection of the Paraclete resulted in the consummation of the Diaspora during the first Century following the crucifixion of Christ. God’s own Son was the stone over which His once chosen people were finally cursed with persistent unbelief and replaced with those blessed in the New Covenant. The original Covenant was broken and this permanent Divine action overrode the plethora of promises God had made to restore His people. Theological heresy and failure of Christian leaders to emphasize sin and its ultimate result is partially responsible for the tragic support hordes of United States Christians provide to the error of Zionism; itself a dividing issue.
Most Americans still retain trust in government and believe the evils in the system are confined to the opposing political party. Although they are often dangerously uninformed, many of them are angered when anyone questions the integrity of the government. To them it is my country right or wrong. Not only are they unaware of the continual danger of allowing governments to accumulate power but they are not even willing to think in those terms. They are satisfied with the news coverage provided by our newspapers and television and believe the press releases provided by our leaders. They fail to understand the suspicion our Founders had of governmental power and to see that suspicion in the construction of our government and the documents that control it. These individuals are blissfully ignorant of the innate nature of fallen humanity and of history as well.
George W. Bush would be an insignificant president if it were not for the war in Iraq. His entire presidency has been defined by the attack on 9/11 and the illegal war that has followed.
It is said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It corrupts because the desire to be like god lurks within every human being distorting the judgment of the best of us. President George W. Bush is following a Jewish agenda that God rejected over two thousand years ago. He is out of the Will of God and assisting Satan’s chaotic minions. Hundreds of thousands of Evangelical Christians and leaders who lend him their support have forsaken the Covenant and are busily pursuing what God hates.
As the doctrine of Divine selection has been squeezed out in favor of the humanist theology of Arminianism the mantle of Christian chosenness has been lost along with the legal basis for obedience and the capacity to reign over the social order.
Sound Christian doctrine should reject the rise of a secular Jewish state and should correct those who support it. They should rally around the sound doctrines bequeathed by the Reformation and reject the humanistic errors that shredded fidelity to the Gospel. Pervasive theological error has divided the Christian house against itself and rendered it useless in the face of egregious sinfulness.
As Rousas Rushdoony wrote overwhelming numbers of Christians have become “riffraff” stubbornly resisting sound doctrine while chasing the wind.
