Isaiah 9:2-7
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined… For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

“God in the Manger”
By Pastor Don Robinson
This world is happy to let Jesus Christ be a baby in a manger, but not willing to let Him be the sovereign King and Lord that He is. Yet that is the central truth of the Christmas story: the Child of Christmas is God!

The Genealogy of Jesus
Life Of Christ

Matthew 1:1-17 and Luke 3:23-38 give the genealogy of Jesus. Matthew recorded Joseph’s lineage, while Luke gave the family tree of Mary.

The Birth of Jesus Christ
By Daniel B. Wallace, Ph.D.
We must keep in mind that the Jesus we worship was truly born in time-space history. And that babe in the manger was truly crucified–and just as surely rose from the dead.

Names of Jesus Christ
A time to meditate…
I think meditation on the names of Christ is one of the most helpful tools we have in understanding who He is and what His character is like. Take your time. This is not an exhaustive list. Be encouraged.

What was the Star of Bethlehem?
MSNBC Special by John Mosley, program supervisor for the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, explains what he sees as the most likely scientific scenario.
