We are living at the beginning of a time of great turmoil. Could it be that Millions of Christians have sought God's favor but failed to obey His mandates; that they have put His benefits above His sovereignty allowing evil to reign over an extended period, that they have failed to be vigilant? "The police state tactics being foisted on the citizens of New Orleans are a disgrace. Many of these homes have never been flooded and are being kept clean and habitable. One is reminded of the propaganda meted out at Waco."

Roberts says abortion law is 'entitled to respect'
On the second day of his confirmation hearings, Roberts said that as of 1992, when the Supreme Court ruled in Casey v. Suspend the Gas Tax!
by Rep. Ron Paul, MD
Many people are upset with oil companies, which is understandable given the frustrations of steadily rising gas prices. Congress can help immediately by suspending federal gas taxes, which alone add 18.4 cents to the cost of every gallon. The state of Texas adds another 20 cents per gallon in taxes. Citizens are always asked to sacrifice during crises; why are governments never expected to do the same? Immediate, short-term relief for every American at the pump could be a reality when Congress returns to Washington this week. Congress should pass, and the president should immediately sign, a bill suspending the federal gas tax.

God destroyed 'City of Decadence'
Press Release from Repent America
Just days before “Southern Decadence”, an annual homosexual celebration in New Orleans, an act of God destroys the city. “Southern Decadence” has a history of filling the French Quarters section of the city with drunken homosexuals engaging in sex acts in the public streets and bars. “Although the loss of lives is deeply saddening, this act of God destroyed a wicked city,” said Repent America director Michael Marcavage.

To Blog Or Not To Blog?
Commentary by David Alan Black
Contrary to popular notions today, blogging is not easy. The fact is, it is much easier to begin blogging than to continue it. As in Malachi 3:16, I fear that many blogs are merely public eavesdropping, and God hears them. That ought to put a divine seal on our lips when we would speak unadvisedly. Vigilante Kills 2 Sex Offenders
News Wire
A man claiming to be an FBI agent dropped in on three Level 3 sex offenders living together, supposedly to warn them of an Internet "hit list" targeting sex offenders. The man was not an FBI agent, but he may have been enforcing a hit list of his own creation. The two sodomites were found dead of gunshot wounds, and authorities say it may be one of the nation's most serious cases of vigilantism aimed at sex offenders.
