The Scourge of Multiculturalism
Commentary by Al Cronkrite
Abolishing The Culture
There are a number of forces that have exerted pressure against the fragile orthodox Christian remnant that was the heritage of American society. The Enlightenment was a early culprit and the humanists it produced carried on the tradition. Secular intellectualism adopted the theory of Evolution and the pagan necessity of replacing God with government became an objective of a number of powerful Christian-hating pagans. However, none of these pressures succeeded in reeking the cultural devastation that has resulted from legislation passed by our congress in the mid-1960s.

Hillary's Patriot Act?
Commentary by Chuck Baldwin
Patriot Act is Helping Dismantle Constitutional Liberties
The Patriot Act authorizes federal police to perform searches and seizures of private property without warrant. It authorizes federal wiretaps without judicial oversight. It allows the feds to monitor our internet usage, intercept e-mails and internet communications, all without judicial oversight. I wonder how comfortable conservatives would be with the knowledge that President Hillary Clinton's Justice Department had the latitudes and laxities of the Patriot Act at its disposal?

bearing 'no tangible impact' for the prosecution of murderers
Several U.S. states have passed measures regulating abortion but activists said the bills are unlikely to drastically reduce the number of abortions. David Garrow, a legal historian at the Emory Law School told the Christian Science Monitor many of the measures represent efforts by anti-abortion state legislators to keep the base happy. "The appearance of activity appears to satisfy people even if, when you look at it carefully, there's no tangible impact," he said.

The point of departure for Dr. Hindson’s article, found in the May 2005 edition of the National Liberty Journal, is 2 Peter 3:3–4: “Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues as it was from the beginning of creation.’” He concludes from these verses that Peter is describing a distant eschatological event and not one that is on the horizon. The relatively small Roman Catholic diocese of Covington, Ky., said Friday that it has agreed to create a record-setting $120 million fund to settle a class-action lawsuit over sexual abuse by priests. The potential payout by the northern Kentucky diocese, which has about 90,000 parishioners, is 40 percent larger than the $85 million settlement negotiated in 2003 by the Boston Archdiocese, which has 2.1 million Catholics.

The New Global Order
Commentary by Chuck Baldwin
Conservative vs. Liberal No Longer An Issue
What people need to realize is that internationalism is incompatible with freedom. People will become servants to an all-powerful state. We will live our lives under ubiquitous state surveillance. There will be no appeals, no checks and balances, and no separation of powers.

Judge Blocks Abortion Law
Pro-Life News
A federal judge has thrown out a Mississippi law that prohibits early second-trimester abortions at stand-alone abortion clinics. U.S. District Judge Tom S. Lee ruled the law unconstitutional in an order released Wednesday. The regulation would have required mothers seeking to murder their children by abortion to go to hospitals or outpatient surgical facilities.

Federal ID Act is Flawed
Freedom of Speech
The new law can actually increase the
risk of a person's identity being stolen
A federal law designed to make it harder to assume someone else's identity may instead have the opposite effect. The Real ID Act, signed by President Bush on May 11, sets new rules for issuing driver's licenses and requires states to share electronic access to their records. The standardization will prompt merchants to scan customer drivers licenses and then sell the information to data brokers.
