The National Republican Party Platform expected to be ratified today does not take a stand on the public display of the Ten Commandments, despite the urging of the Alabama delegation. 21 National Delegates representing all Republicans in the state of Alabama wanted their part of the national platform to officially endorse a bill that would outlaw court rulings abridging a public "acknowledgment of God." The RNC made sure the proposal was defeated in subcommittee to insure there would be no debate concerning the 'acknowledgment of God' plank by the full platform committee.

Nearly 20 Christians who protested in front of the Planned Parenthood of Central Texas were found guilty of violating a trumped-up city ordinance. The Christians were cited in March for refusing to disperse in front of the abortion clinic, across the street from a school. A month earlier, the Waco City Council adopted an ordinance prohibiting street activity in front of the abortuary during school zone hours. Pastor John Collier told the Waco City Council, "Jesus said, 'Go into all the world,' and that includes the sidewalks in front of Planned Parenthood, Waco's high schools, the homosexual churches, and all the other places that have declared the Law of God unwelcome."

The 501c3 Problem
Freedom of Speech
In Bob Jones University v. United States (461 U.S. 574), the U.S. Supreme Court noted the following about the government’s intended purpose for the 501c3: The Court asserts that an exempt organization must “demonstrably serve and be in harmony with the public interest,” must have a purpose that comports with “the common community conscience,” and must not act in a manner “affirmatively at odds with [the] declared position of the whole Government.” Taken together, these passages suggest that the primary function of a tax-exempt organization is to act on behalf of the Government in carrying out governmentally approved policies.

Bush allows cankered sodomite to touch his daughters
When Washington-area pervert-beautician Erwin Gomez and his sodomite "partner" James Packard celebrate their marital vows next month, two of Gomez's best customers will probably be in attendance: President Bush's twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara. Yesterday, the 39-year-old sodomite - a makeup expert for the Elizabeth Arden shop in the D.C. suburb of Chevy Chase, Md. - said that Bush's daughters have expressed an enthusiastic desire to go to Gomez and Packard's Sept. 11 "wedding celebration."

What’s Wrong With the Pro-Life Movement
Pro-Life News
The pro-life movement seems to be committed to gauging its influence by endorsements it gets from national political celebrities, but time has proven that those platitudes won’t stop babies from being killed. The movement’s support for the current president might even help to finish the work of destroying the U.S. Constitution that was so hideously forwarded by Roe.

Google has banned a Christian organization's advertisements promoting its stance against homosexuality, saying the group promotes "hate." Stand to Reason, a nonprofit apologetics organization, says its "AdWord" advertisement on Google recently was pulled down. "Google's objections had to do with other articles on our website pertaining to homosexuality," said Melinda Penner, director of operations for Stand to Reason. "They claimed that their specialist had deemed us a hate site and that their policies didn't allow people to have ads that discriminated against certain groups, which include sexual orientation."

Standing Between Butcher and Baby
Pro-Life News
Is the un-prosecuted murder of over 43 million babies a light and transient cause? The time is closing before we can no longer reign in the judicial, the executive and legislative branches, state and federal, of civil government. Before long it will be a "long train of abuses and usurpations" which gives rise to our "duty to throw off such Government." Our personal, individual duty has not yet arisen, since as of late, no state has even attempted to stand between the butcher and the baby.

Pro-Life Conservatives?
Commentary
Conservative evangelicals who oppose abortion are about to throw in their lot with George W. Bush for another four years in the White House. I don’t get it. It was not so long ago that pro-lifers were an uncompromising bunch of people. Abortion was an evil to be opposed on every front. But today most evangelical voters have fallen for the “I’m pro-life because I say so” scam.

George W. Bush has discarded traditional Republican qualms against big government, replacing the old Democrat model of tax-and-spend with his own model of borrow-and-spend. Keyes Begs Bush Not to Select O'Connor
Abominations
Former ambassador Alan Keyes, who officially accepted the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate in Illinois this week, begs President George W. Bush to resist the urge to appoint judicial nominees who do not "share our reverence for our Declaration and our Constitution." Keyes warns that pressure from Democrats and Republicans is building on President Bush to nominate Sandra Day O'Connor as
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and hand liberal special interests everything they want -- on a platter! Keyes said, "Please, Mr. President, I beg of you, do not surrender your principles in this vital cause," the declaration continued. South Carolina has joined the Town of Great Falls' appeal of a federal court’s order preventing the town from mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in prayers at town meetings. A three-judge panel of the Fourth US Circuit Court of Appeals on July 22nd
ruled that the town council no longer could invoke the name of Jesus at government meetings. The court's ruling came after
witch high priestess Darla Kaye Wynne sued the town in 2001 after the council refused to open meetings only with nonsectarian prayers. (

Republicans to Conservatives: Drop Dead!

On the 2004 Republican National Convention Website people are asked to participate in the development of the GOP Platform. To do this, there is a drop-down menu which lists 20 different subjects including "other." You can click on a subject which is "most important." But, missing from this list of subjects is "Abortion" or "Pro-life." There is no such category. More than 40 million innocent, unborn babies have been slaughtered by abortion since 1973 when the Supreme Court "legalized" such killing. President Bush says he's pro-life.
