The Birth of the Savior

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined... For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

New Law Encourages Up-to-Full Term Abortions
''By not outlawing the medical D&X abortion procedure, and then, specifically limiting the definition of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban to applying only to a "living fetus," it is glaringly obvious that the lawmakers purposely fashioned the Act in such a way to encourage abortionists to murder up-to-full term babies in the womb first! At a news conference being held inside a women's "health" clinic, Roger Dickinson, a Democrat candidate for the 9th Assembly District seat, spoke about the need to create a 20-foot buffer zone around abortion clinics. As he spoke, H.A. "Bud" Reeves, identified himself as being with the Sanctity of Human Life Network. A federal judge has set a timetable for filing motions on Attorney General Bill Pryor's request to dismiss or move a lawsuit that seeks to return former Chief Justice Roy Moore to office. Mobile lawyer Jim Zeigler filed the suit on behalf of Christian talk show host Kelly McGinley of Mobile, who alleges that she has been "disenfranchised" as a voter by the removal of Moore. U.S. District Judge William H. Steele, in an order Wednesday, set Dec. 8 as the deadline for motions opposing Pryor's request for dismissal or change of venue.

Guidelines distributed last month by the California attorney general's office contradict the surveillance methods used by federal agencies -- and advise local police to observe stricter state limits when it comes to spying on the public. "Put bluntly, it is a mistake of constitutional dimension to gather information for a criminal intelligence file where there is no reasonable suspicion" of criminal activity, the guidelines state.
