The constitution of Kansas forbids putting any human being out of the protection of the law: Bill of rights - 1. "All men are possessed of equal and inalienable natural rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." "Men" here is the generic, meaning "human being.". Females and children have the same rights as all men. If that isn't clear enough, the U.S. Constitution: Article I, section 9 - "No Bill of Attainder...shall be passed." And, "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States..."
