Bush, Dobson will address 'Christian media'

James Dobson loves George W. Bush. And he can't stand John McCain. That, in a nutshell, is the problem that the Republicans face with evangelicals in trying to retain control of the White House in the presidential election in November. The support of powerful evangelical leaders like Dobson, head of Focus on the Family, helped Bush win about 75% of the evangelical vote in 2004. But while Bush endorsed McCain earlier this week, Dobson has given McCain the thumbs down. Bush intends to speak about the war on terror and national security - issues expected to form the basis of McCain's campaign, officials said.
