Don't Tell Me, I Don't Wanta Know
Al Cronkrite / The Covenant News:
Truth is often terrible and because it is terrible it is shunned. Many do not want to believe that they and their fellows are evil and are additionally shocked at the depths to which that evil will extend. Written truth is often more acceptable than spoken truth and truth from a source considered legitimate is often more acceptable than truth from one that is scorned. In truth-telling, newspapers are superior to television and preachers are superior to laymen. Accessible truth is not as necessary as hidden truth. The Evil One produces his schemes in darkness. It is the duty of the righteous to bring those schemes into the light.
