Hastert May Testify With Aides This Week

The U.S. House Ethics Committee investigation of the congressional page program is poised this week to hear testimony from key staffers of House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert and perhaps the speaker himself, the Chicago Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet reported on her blog late Sunday. The ethics committee probe comes in the wake of the scandal involving former U.S. Rep. Mark Foley (R-Fla.) sending sexually suggestive e-mails and instant messages to teenage male pages.
