Criminal Conspiracy and Forced to Step Down
Republican Party House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was indicted today by a Texas grand jury of criminal conspiracy in a campaign fund-raising scheme. DeLay was indicted on one felony count charge that he violated state election laws in September 2002. A conviction on the felony charge carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison. THE QUESTION IS NOW, does Congress have the integrity to impeach Delay from Congress?
