to Give Student Info To Military
A provision of the No Child Left Behind Act requires high schools to give military recruiters student phone numbers and addresses, unless a parent files a written request to "opt out." But few parents or students seem to know about the rule. The rule, a small part of the 670-page legislation, threatens districts with the loss of federal funds if they do not give the same personal information to the military, colleges and employers
