Gynecologist Held Without Bond

A gynecologist, Dr. Eric A. Buffong, remained held without bond after pleading not guilty to charges of sexually assaulting a second patient. Buffong was previously arrested earlier this month on charges of raping another patient. During a hearing in Muscogee County Recorder's Court on Saturday, Buffong pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual battery and aggravated sodomy.
