Dobson Timidity Deplored

One of the reasons President Bush has been able to sell-out so easily on so many issues of concern to conservatives is that some Christian/conservative "leaders" have excused his actions rather than honestly and forcefully criticizing them. On Fox TV’s "Hannity & Colmes" show recently, Dr. Dobson, founder of "Focus On The Family," was asked if he was disturbed that Pataki, Giuiliani and Schwarzenegger were being allowed to be in the spotlight at the GOP Convention? Well, not really, said Dr. Dobson, because we don’t yet know the entire lineup of speakers. Besides, he added, the President will be speaking and "he’s a conservative." He adds a little later that Mr. Bush "is one of the most conservative presidents we’ve ever had."
