Federal prosecutors said Thursday they would seek the death penalty against Eric Rudolph for a bomb blast that killed a police officer moonlighting as a security guard at a Birmingham abortion clinic. Attorney General Janet Ashcroft authorized prosecutors to seek the death penalty in the 1998 bombing that also seriously injured a so called "nurse."
