Ashcroft: We want Rudolph executed
Attorney General John Ashcroft has authorized prosecutors to seek the death penalty against accused serial bomber Eric Rudolph. Ashcroft's decision paves the way for federal prosecutors in Alabama to ask a jury for Rudolph's execution if convicted in the 1992 bombing of a Birmingham abortion clinic.
