A gunman trying to infiltrate an Israeli border crossing from Jordan fired on a crowd of tourists Wednesday, wounding five Ecuadoreans, officials said. The assailant was shot dead. The shooting occurred at the Rabin terminal, an open-air checkpoint near Eilat.
