Kline Ethics Hearing Postponed Again

The Topeka Capital Journal
TOPEKA -- The disciplinary case against former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline has been delayed again after he changed his legal representation for a second time. Despite the objection of Stan Hazlett, the state's disciplinary administrator, the hearing panel for the Board for the Discipline of Attorneys granted Kline another continuance. The hearing, which was scheduled for November, has been postponed until Feb. 21-25. The scheduled November date was five months later than the initially scheduled May hearing, which was delayed when Kline first changed his legal team. Kline now is being represented by the Overland Park law firm of Holbrook and Osborn, which took over after Edward Greim, Todd Graves and Ryan Kreigshauser, of Kansas City, asked to be removed from the case. The Greim firm contended the legal fee they contracted with the attorney general's office wasn't sufficient for Kline's defense.
