Father Arrested After Accidentally Suffocating Infant
SUNRISE, Fla. -- A South Florida father has been arrested after police said he accidentally suffocated his daughter and then tried to cover it up. Sunrise Police arrested Emanuel Lawrence, 30, on Saturday. Lawrence has been charged with aggravated man slaughter of a child, after police said he tried to cover up the death of his 7-month-old. According to police, Lawrence was at home smoking and playing video games with a friend. Later on, Lawrence went to sleep with his 7-month old and a 3-year-old in the bed with him. When Lawrence woke up he was on top of the baby, who was face down and suffocating. Police said he then moved the 7-month-old's body to the crib, and then tried to cover it up to a 911 operator and police.Click Here For The Full Story......
