UK: Abortion Capital of Europe

Britain has the highest rate of abortions in Europe. Research shows we have overtaken France and teenage terminations have risen almost a third in 10 years. Half of all pregnancies in under-18s end this way. The Institute of Family Policies pressure group revealed there were 219,336 abortions in England, Wales and Scotland in 2007 compared to 209,699 in France.
