All Ultrasound Centres In India City Following ID Proof Directive
CHANDIGARH -- Following directions from UT administration, the health department has claimed that almost all ultrasound centres in the city have started maintaining records of proofs of photo identity cards of patients so that it could be randomly checked at a later stage that the family did not have an abortion done. At a meeting convened by home secretary Ram Niwas last week, the health department informed that checks were being conducted on a regular basis to monitor the records of ultrasound owners in the city. It was decided to get the reports of the ultrasound owners cross-checked through field inspectors and NGOs to make sure those families, which already had a girl child and got an ultrasound done recently, did not go in for abortion.Click Here For The Full Story......
