Planned Parenthood & ACLU file Anti-Personhood Lawsuit Against Nevada's Ballot Initiative

CARSON CITY, NV -- Planned Parenthood and the ACLU have filed a lawsuit against the sponsors of a Nevada ballot initiative defining the term "person". The simple, one-sentence amendment states, "In the great state of Nevada, the term 'person' applies to every human being." Blogger Emmily Bristol, the woman participating in the lawsuit, seems to admit on her blog that the measure is easy to understand. She claims, "It is designed to leave voters scratching their heads and saying, 'Well, duh, a person is a person.'"
