Editor's note: The Brazilian archbishop was right to excommunicate anyone complicit and implicit with child killing -- the shedding of innocent blood by abortion, because murderers "shall not inherit the kingdom of God" (Galatians 5:21) ... "murderers... shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death" (Rev.21:8). To knowingly allow murderers, both complicit and implicit, to take communion IS a grievous sin against God. Of course, the Pope is glad to see such a pro-life archbishop resign. Just imagine what would happen if excommunicating pro-choicers became a reality in both the Catholic and Protestant churches in America today. The Church would lose over half of its membership over night. But, if you think about it, that would be a good thing.
