Parental Consent For Abortions On Alaska Docket (And Then You Can Kill The Baby)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Among the variety of early bills soon to be up for discussion when the state Legislature convenes is one on parental consent for abortions. Rep. John Coghill and Sens. Fred Dyson and Gene Therriault have all sponsored proposed legislation that would require parents to give permission before a teenage girl could legally receive an abortion. Looking ahead to the upcoming legislative session, Gov. Sarah Palin says it's something she, too, thinks is a good idea.
