Man Kidnapped By Woman To Pay For Her Abortion Too Traumatized To Work

Woman accused of helping demand $500 for abortion
ROYAL OAK, MI -- A man who was allegedly kidnapped by a man and woman to pay for her abortion said last March's incident has traumatized him to the point he cannot leave his home. Matthew Chapman, 32, of Warren, testified Thursday in Macomb County Circuit Court for the trial of Holly Patterson, 39, of Warren, with whom he had a "friends with benefits" relationship. Patterson's co-defendant, Louis Cotoio, 40, of Ferndale, hit and kicked Chapman in the head several times after ambushing him and bounding him with duct tape and handcuffs in Patterson's apartment, according to police and prosecutors.
