Two Men Plead Guilty In Arson of Abortion-Doctor's Office

Two men pleaded guilty Wednesday to conspiracy to commit arson for setting fire to the offices of an Albuquerque physician where one man's ex-girlfriend had planned to have an abortion. The negotiated guilty plea calls for Sergio Baca, 23, to receive 46 months in prison and Chad Altman to 40 months for setting fire to Dr. Curtis Boyd’s office in the Northeast Heights on Dec. 6, 2007. U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Torgerson accepted the plea agreements. A sentencing hearing has not been scheduled.
