Suspect Sought In Harassment Tied To Abortion Clinic

Aurora Police are seeking a woman accused of harassing and grabbing a Planned Parenthood of Illinois employee near a clinic that has been the site of protests and conflict. Authorities are investigating the months-old incident as a comparatively minor misdemeanor battery charge, but it highlights the uneasy standoff between the protesters and the clinic, which offers family planning services, including abortions. On Monday, police released a surveillance photo of an unknown woman they want to question for allegedly following three Planned Parenthood employees to a grocery store near the East New York Street facility on Oct. 1 and grabbing one of them.
