Police Want to Talk With Woman In Confrontation at Planned Parenthood

AURORA -- Police are hoping a surveillance photo will help identify a woman who allegedly grabbed the arm of an employee at the Planned Parenthood Clinic last fall. At 11 a.m. on Oct. 1, three workers were leaving the clinic at 3051 E. New York St., police said. The three employees were on a break and walking to the nearby grocery store, when the suspect followed them and made derogatory comments about where they worked, police said.

Police in west suburban Aurora are looking for a woman who harassed and battered employees of the local Planned Parenthood in October. On Oct. 1, 2008, three women working for Planned Parenthood took a work break around 11 a.m. and walked to a nearby grocery, according to a release from Aurora police. A woman allegedly followed them to the store, making derogatory comments about their line of work, the release said. When the employees were about to enter the store, the woman grabbed one of their hands and, while the employee attempted to pull away, grabbed her arm.

Police have released an image of a woman suspected of battering a Planned Parenthood employee in October. The Oct. 1 incident occurred around 11 a.m. when the employee was walking from the facility on East New York Street to a nearby grocery store. The suspect --described as a woman with short, dark hair, in her late 30s or early 40s, about five and a half feet tall and weighing 130-145 pounds – grabbed the hand and arm of the employee while saying derogatory things about her work at Planned Parenthood, Aurora police said Monday.
