Obama to Fund Forced Abortions
Spero News
De-funded during the Bush Administration [sic], US money for the UN Population Fund that supports China's policy of coercive abortion will flow again during the Obama Administration, say supporters. Supporters of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) are confident that President-elect Barack Obama will reverse the Bush administration's 2002 decision to stop the $40 million it received in U.S. funding. The policy was instated because of UNFPA's support for China's one-child policy, which includes coercive abortion practices. Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D – N.Y.) said the funding will be approved by the Democrat majority Congress. Her comments came while speaking Wednesday at a press conference at the National Press Club where the 2008 U.N. report on world population was released.

Editor's note: The $40 million going to UNFPA that G.W. Bush allegedly "blocked" has always been a Red Herring used by the Republican Party cheerleaders to make it appear that Bush is some how "pro-life." All of the population reduction non-governmental organizations (NGO's) supported by UNFPA (and USAID) overseas, and many for-profit family planning groups -- also overseas -- received much more than $40 million through the back-door when Bush unconstitutionally gave ``$50 billion'' through his AIDS Relief bill. Don't be fooled by the deceit and lies that say Bush and the Republican Party are "pro-life." The $50 billion they gave to the population reduction groups make the GOP the biggest baby murdering political party in the history of the world and pro-lifers should never forget it.
