Judge Roy Moore: Open to Run for Office

Five years to the day after he was ousted as chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court for refusing to remove a massive Ten Commandments monument, Roy Moore said Thursday that he has not ruled out running for office again. But he said there is a lot of time to make any decision about his political future. "I do not have any specific plans right now, but I haven't given up the idea of running again," Moore told the Montgomery Advertiser on Thursday. "I do get asked quite frequently."
