Leprosy Being Diagnosed in United States
BATON ROUGE, La. -- An estimated 150 cases of leprosy are diagnosed each year in the United States and about 3,000 people are being treated, researchers said. James Krahenbuhl, director of the Health Resources Service Administration's National Hansen's Disease Program in Baton Rouge, La., said that although leprosy dates back to biblical times, researchers do not clearly understand how it is transmitted.Click Here For The Full Story......
