Police: Boy's Intestines Ruptured From Abuse

PHOENIX -- A 2-year-old boy is in critical condition at a local hospital after his mother's boyfriend punched him, Phoenix police said. Rosario Fierro-Lopez and the boy's mother brought the unconscious toddler to the emergency room early Thursday morning, police said. Fernando Fuentes-Temaj's intestines were ruptured, which could only be caused by blunt force trauma, police said.
