Debate Heats Up Over Amendment 48

DENVER -- Amendment 48 is being called the personhood amendment and it is stirring up some heated debates. Bob Enyart, Colorado Right To Life. said, "Every little boy and girl has a beginning and their beginning is at the moment of fertilization." While Crystal Clinkenbeard, No on 48, said, "The amendment puts non-medical, non-scientific definition into our state constitution." In the Colorado Blue Book, the Amendment reads, "It proposes a change to the state constitution that defines the term 'person' to include any human being from the moment of fertilization."
