Troubled Planned Parenthood Re-Opens With New Name
South Florida's main Planned Parenthood chapter, expelled by the organization in June due to ongoing problems, re-emerged with a new name Monday and reopened one clinic, in Boca Raton. Now called Your Healthcare Centers, the nonprofit family planning group expects to resume medical care and counseling at clinics in Pembroke Pines next week and in Oakland Park next month, director Ruth Lynch said. Two other clinics remain unsettled. Planned Parenthood's national office closed the former chapter's five clinics in March, citing problems with finances, medical documentation and clinic conditions. The chapter was expelled on June 30 and the territory assigned to a chapter based in West Palm Beach.Click Here For The Full Story......
