13 Abortion Protesters Arrested Near DNC

DENVER -- Thirteen anti-abortion activists, including Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry, were arrested after blocking a security gate near the site of the Democrat National Convention. Police three times asked about 35 protesters to leave before making the 13 arrests. The protesters were being bused to a detention facility.

DENVER -- A dozen anti-abortion activists were arrested at the security perimeter of the Pepsi Center just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday. They were led by Randall Terry with the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue. The protestors sat down in front of the security gate to the Pepsi Center where the Democratic National Convention is being held and they were praying and singing. Terry asked his followers to be respectful to police. It was a peaceful protest and arrest.

DENVER -- Civil Disobedience Planned at Pepsi center for Tuesday, August 26, between 2:00 - 2:30 P.M. to protest Obama's and Biden's support for child-killing by abortion. Two Catholic Priests, one Evangelical Pastor among those who plan to be arrested. Randall Terry, Operation Rescue Founder says: "Obama's pick of Biden is a gift from God to pro-lifers. Biden's horrifying record and betrayal of his Faith will help mobilize Catholic clergy and laity to defeat the "Ticket of Death."
