Woman Refuses Abortion, Strangled to Death, Cremated Before Family Informed

MUZAFFARNAGAR -- A woman who refused to abort her female foetus was allegedly strangulated to death by her in-laws in Samaspur village, police said. The victim's brother Sushil Kumar in a police complaint has alleged that his sister Neelam, who was killed yesterday, was under pressure from her husband's family to get her female foetus aborted. Even the body was cremated without informing her parents, Kumar said.
