Judge: NH Owes Planned Parenthood Legal Fees

CONCORD, N.H. -- A federal judge says the state of New Hampshire must reimburse the group that challenged a law that would have required doctors to notify parents before performing abortions on minors. The 2003 law never took effect because of a lawsuit filed by Planned Parenthood of New England. The state continued to pursue the case even after it reached the U.S. Supreme Court, but the Legislature repealed the law last year.
